Feature - Match Annotation Workspace

Help players tag and present their match footage to recruiters.

Match Annotation Workspace

The annotation workspace lets players explain their performances in their own words. There is no automatic tracking yet—every tag and note is created by the player or their coaching staff.

What you can do

  • Upload full matches or pre-cut clips in supported formats (MP4, HLS).
  • Scrub through video, drop annotations at key timestamps, and add short notes.
  • Organize clips by phase (attack, defensive action, set piece, transition, etc.).
  • Group annotated clips into highlight reels that recruiters can watch quickly.

Player workflow

  1. Upload the video. We transcode it for playback and notify you when it is ready.
  2. Tag the moments that illustrate your strengths, adding context about decisions or execution.
  3. Publish the annotated match to your profile or keep it private until you are ready to share.

Recruiter view

  • Recruiters see the curated highlight clips first, with optional access to the full match when permissions allow.
  • Each annotation clearly states the situation and why it matters.
  • Recruiters can bookmark clips inside a wishlist to revisit them later.

Manual annotations today, smarter assistive tooling tomorrow.
